My stepson Owen arrived at 10:15 a.m. from Virginia. We had a bite together and then I had to leave for granddaughter Rachel's birthday party at The Science Center .
The party was great, and then I went to the mall with Blixy and Rachel to have Rachel's ears pierced as her birthday present from her Mom. I remember when mine were pierced a million years ago. A doctor who was practicing, and therefore did them free, pulled a needle and thread through my ear, and the sound of the thread being pulled thorugh made me nauseous. I also bled for a month.
Rahcel's piercing took a couple of seconds and all she felt was a mild sting. She is thrilled with the results.
I did my drawing late today:
Tonight we are going to a Pinter Play (Old Times) at The Kitchen Theatre downtown.
(Note: There is a gap between the dates I'm writing and posting in order to give me time to get ahead.)
