A friend said to me yesterday, "Your abstract paintings on paper look freer than your canvas paintings."
"Yes," I agreed. "They are."
"Why is that?"
"Because I feel freer when I'm painting on paper."
Canvas seems to require a more sustained and serious effort. This painting on paper came quickly and was fun to do:
