Art Anywhere is a new online site that promotes artists in Toronto and Montreal, encouraging Canadians to buy local art. They allow artists to join for free, and offer visitors a chance to rent or purchase paintings, drawings, prints, and sculpture.
For example, Symbiosis 3, a 30" x 30" wild and wonderful abstract acrylic painting by Vitali Zelinski, rents for $50 or can be purchased for $600:

One cool thing I noted on this website is that the colors in the painting are shown as little squares along with other information about the art.
It's great for artists to be supported by their local communities. Unfortunately, that often isn't the case and the internet offers a solution by allowing us to reach art lovers around the world.
