Fifty-three contemporary artists on the Art Trail open their studios for two weekends beginning October 10. Today I'm highlighting a few artists working in sculpture, carving and mixed media:
Mary Michael Shelley: Hand carved and painted folk art pictures of diners, farms and American scenes.
Elisabeth Gross-Marks: Colorful abstract collages, sculptures, installations and paintings.
Margaret Neher: Flame-worked glass jewelry, ornaments, and gifts.
John Lyon Paul: Sculptures in wood, copper, bronze, concrete, lead, steel and cast paper + paintings and installations.
Durand Van Doren: An Artist Blacksmith for over 33 years.
